Extreme Precision, Handcrafted – Micro Die Bending by Master Craftsmen

At Nagoya Hagata, our expert craftsmen took on a bold challenge: creating a die that cuts the word “Ichiban” (イチバン)-measuring just 3mm high by 10mm wide – within a tiny hexagon of only 10mm x 12mm.
What makes this achievement truly extraordinary is the detail: the voiced mark (dakuten) on the character “バ” was formed as a microscopic star just 0.4mm in size – entirely hand-bent by our skilled artisans using precision tools.
We continue to refine our techniques to “turn the impossible into possible” through the craftsmanship of seasoned professionals. Our technology plays a vital role in supporting the development of cutting-edge innovations and new materials across industries.
Our work was recently featured on the ABEMA TV program “Cunning Takeyama’s Ichiban Research Institute,” a popular infotainment show that highlights top-tier technologies and craftsmanship in Japan.
